Collision Avoidance Course/Phase 1 (Basic)
The Basic Collision Avoidance Course is open to all motorcycle riders who have basic riding knowledge and can operate their motorcycles on the roadway with little to no trouble. This course will introduce riders to many riding methods including the five basic riding techniques, riding in confined areas, proper braking techniques, evasive maneuvers and other collision avoidance related exercises. The required equipment to attend this course consists of a functioning motorcycle, over the ankle boots, comfortable riding pants and shirts, a D.O.T. approved helmet and a good attitude. We strongly recommend riding gloves and protective eyewear. Riders will be required to sign a release of liability form. Water throughout the day and lunch will be provided free of charge to all riders. We look forward to having you in our next course. Riders are welcome to attend this course as many times as they wish. There is no charge for the course and there is no prerequisite course required.

The Advanced Collision Avoidance Course is open to motorcycle riders who have completed the Basic Collision Avoidance Course at least once and been invited by the instructors. Riders will be expected to demonstrate the learned techniques from phase 1 throughout phase 2. Items covered will include more confined riding techniques, group riding methods, up and down hill braking and off-road riding techniques. The required equipment to attend this course consists of a functioning motorcycle, over the ankle boots, comfortable riding pants and shirt, a D.O.T. approved helmet and a good attitude. We strongly recommend riding gloves and protective eyewear. Riders will be required to sign a release of liability form.
